Temu Denied Valid Invites and Delayed Refunds Despite Confirmation Messages

I participated in a Temu promotional campaign promising a free product reward (including a thermal camera) in exchange for inviting friends. I invited 15 people, 7 of whom accepted the invitation by creating new accounts and fulfilling all required conditions.

However, the system refused to count the final 20 tokens, citing vague reasons like “risk detected” or “number not verified”—even though my cousin and a friend used new devices, phone numbers, and accounts, and clearly followed all the rules.

As a result, the campaign expired, and I received nothing despite meeting the stated requirements. It’s clear the system is designed to disqualify valid referrals at the last minute to avoid fulfilling its promise.

In addition, I made two product returns in 2024:

₺1,035 in June

₺950 in July
Temu confirmed that the refunds had been processed, but to this day, the amounts have not been returned to my bank account. My bank confirmed that no technical issue or incoming payment attempt has occurred. The refund associated with PO-203-17057378575911099-D01 was supposedly completed, but nothing has reached my account—Temu appears to be delaying or misrepresenting refund processing.

Despite contacting Temu customer service multiple times, I only receive automated, copy-paste replies with no real resolution. My complaints remain unanswered and unresolved.

I urgently demand that:

The promotional items promised be delivered

The full refund amounts of ₺1,035 and ₺950 be immediately transferred to my account

And that Temu provide transparent documentation for all actions taken on my account

This level of miscommunication, unfulfilled promises, and financial mishandling is unacceptable. If my issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to escalate it to consumer protection authorities.
