Teka Refuses to Replace My ARK938 Faucet’s Broken Spout Despite a Known Defect
On May 14, 2014, I purchased a Teka ARK938 kitchen faucet. However, on February 16, 2025, I experienced a spout breakage, which, according to various complaints on social media and Şikayetvar, is a well-known manufacturing defect. On March 17, 2025, I contacted Teka customer service and spoke with Ms. Z***. She stated that this issue is considered user-induced and that Teka does not cover it, requesting ₺3,076.73 for the replacement part. However, I strongly believe that this is a chronic issue rather than a user fault, as the same type of breakage has occurred to multiple users. Given this, I request Teka to stand behind its product and provide the necessary replacement part free of charge. Doing so would demonstrate that Teka truly upholds its corporate identity and supports its customers. Thank you.
