Fully Rusted Teka DW605S Dishwasher
I have a Teka dishwasher, model DW 605S, at home. The baskets are all rusty and the places where you put plates are starting to break. We didn't realize there was rust on the baskets because they were colored. It wasn't until the lower basket broke that we noticed the problem. Now, we can't use it at all. The top basket also began to rust at the corners. I don't get why they don't use non-corrosive metal for dishwashers, even though they're designed to come into contact with water. The prices for replacing these parts are higher than the cost of the machine itself. In this situation, when there's no mistake on the user's part and the main function is affected, I really don't get why the user has to bear the cost. When you buy machines, you usually focus on the quality and durability of the Teka brand. However, it's disappointing that the machine stops working after only 4-5 years. It would be awesome if they could fix this problem when you're buying something. I'd rather spend a bit extra on a product from a brand that lasts longer than buying a Teka product that doesn't last very long. It's so weird that things that are always in water don't resist rust. Teka needs to quickly find a solution to this problem and give compensation.
