First, check the water tank to make sure it's full and in place firmly. When the system is refilled or used for the first time, air can get stuck in it.
Close the switch all the way, take out any capsules, and press the brew button without any capsules in it to try to prime the machine.
If that doesn't work, you might need to reset it. For the Easy model, there aren't always official reset instructions available.
However, users have had luck by turning off the machine, opening the lever, and pressing and holding the espresso button while turning the machine back on.
You might need to press both of the top coffee buttons at the same time instead. Once the machine is reset, open and close the lever until you hear a beep. This typically means the machine is reset.
If the problem keeps happening, the machine might have a broken water line or a problem inside. To get help with a fix or warranty, call Tchibo's customer service line at +49 (0)40 6387 0 or go to www.tchibo.com and click on "Help & Service."
