I Was Charged Without Consent by Tandem Language App and Got No Response
On February 16, 2025, Tandem Language charged me ₺399.99 without my permission, even though I was only using the free trial version of the app. I never authorized a subscription or payment of any kind. After noticing the unauthorized charge, I immediately tried to reach out to both Apple Support and Tandem, but despite multiple attempts, I have received no reply from either party.
What’s even more frustrating is that I never used the app after this charge. It feels like I was charged just for signing up for the trial, which is completely unfair and misleading. There was no clear warning about automatic billing, and certainly no approval from my side.
I am extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and complete silence from Tandem’s support team. I demand a full refund of the ₺399.99 and a proper explanation. This experience has damaged my trust in the app and I urge the company to resolve this immediately before more users are affected the same way.
