SunExpress Flight Canceled Without Explanation

On August 15, 2024, my flight from Bremen to Izmir was canceled without any reason provided. I was offered an alternative flight on August 17 via email. When I declined this option and requested a refund or flight change, I was given no options other than to call customer service, which would incur an operator fee. After multiple attempts to reach them and a long wait, I finally spoke with a representative today. I expressed my desire to change my flight and mentioned that I could take the Hamburg to Izmir flight on the same date.
The representative informed me that I had one chance to change my flight and asked if I accepted this. I agreed, but when I inquired about whether I would be reimbursed for the difference in cost since I had previously purchased a more expensive ticket, I received an unprofessional response suggesting that it didn't matter if it was expensive because I wouldn't have to pay for it anyway.
When I wanted to cancel my ticket and buy a new one, I was told, "You already approved it."
As a result, SunExpress's lack of professionalism has left me feeling cheated, as I now have the added costs of a Bremen-Hamburg train ticket, a hefty phone bill, and the feeling of being overcharged for my ticket. I still do not know why my flight was canceled. SunExpress used to be a good brand, but after encountering such a ridiculous situation, I would rather choose an alternative airline, even if it costs twice as much. I do not want to face such nonsense again.
