SunExpress Delayed My Luggage by 5 Days After Charging Excess Baggage Fee
On December 15, 2024, I checked in my luggage for flight XQ1328 from Zonguldak to Düsseldorf with SunExpress. Despite being charged €100 for 12kg of excess baggage, my luggage did not arrive in Düsseldorf. I was informed it would take five days to arrive from Ankara.
This delay is unacceptable, especially considering the perishable items in my luggage that are now spoiled. Who will compensate for this loss? Charging an excess fee yet failing to deliver the luggage on time reflects poorly on your system.
I demand immediate attention to this issue, compensation for the spoiled contents, and a review of SunExpress's baggage handling process to prevent similar problems for future passengers.
