StreamYard Lag Ruined My Live Stream and Support Gave Me Copy-Paste Responses
Though StreamYard failed on every level, I had expected flawless live streaming. Even with fast-paced internet, the continuous 4–6 second delay in every broadcast rendered real-time interactivity impossible. The lag totally stopped the discussion flow, thus it became rather annoying when my guest left midway through. Assuming it might be on my end, Restream and OBS both functioned flawlessly with no delay, thereby indicating StreamYard was the issue. Having been a paying customer for more than two years, I contacted to help in search of a practical answer. Rather, I came onto copy-paste troubleshooting techniques that were rather useless. StreamYard squandered my time, money, and patience; I truly regret ever putting her faith in front of my live broadcasts.
