I Paid Through Trivago-Stayforlong but My Hotel Booking Was Never Confirmed
I joined Trivago, found a hotel I liked, and made my payment through the listed partner site—Stayforlong. My bank shows that the payment was processed successfully, but when I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of my reservation. There was no confirmation message, no booking code, not even a basic hotel detail sent to me. I was left stranded, literally standing with my luggage and nowhere to go.
This is completely unacceptable. If I pay for a booking, I expect that the hotel is notified and my stay is confirmed. Instead, I ended up wasting time, money, and energy trying to figure out what went wrong.
Trivago and Stayforlong, you need to fix this immediately. Either confirm my booking or refund the full amount without delay. This kind of service is outrageous and incredibly stressful. No traveler should be left out in the cold after trusting your platforms.
