Request For Refund Of Unauthorized Starread Subscription Charge

On November 1, 2026 at around 11:02 a.m., an amount of 699 was deducted from my GCash balance, and when I checked my transaction history it showed as a “Payment to Starread Technology Limited, Merchant Transaction” for a subscription. I do not recognize authorizing this subscription or payment and I was not informed in advance about any charge of this amount. I am requesting a full refund of the 699 that was deducted and for any related subscription under my name to be cancelled so that no further charges will be made. I ask that this transaction be investigated and reversed as soon as possible and that I be informed in writing of the outcome.
