Starbucks Thermos Lid Broke and Paint Peeled – Seeking Resolution

I recently bought a Starbucks thermos for quite a hefty price, and I must say, I'm rather let down by the fact that the lid has already broken and the paint is starting to peel off. I'm quite surprised by this turn of events as I didn't foresee the lid breaking in this manner. I feel like I've wasted my money. After using my previous Starbucks thermos for 11 years, I developed a strong sense of trust in the brand, which is why I decided to purchase a new one. Surprisingly, the lid of this brand new thermos broke into pieces in an unexpected location. I am looking for a solution to this problem.
