Spotify Profile Background No Longer Adapts to Profile Photo Colors

I’ve noticed that Spotify no longer changes the profile background color based on the profile photo’s color palette, as it used to. Now, the background only updates when the username is changed, which feels inconvenient and less visually appealing. As someone who spends a lot of time on Spotify, I really miss the cohesive look this feature offered.

I’ve been hoping for an update to restore this feature, but it hasn’t changed. Spotify, please consider bringing back the adaptive background color feature. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the overall experience and visual harmony of the platform.
