I signed up for Socios.com a long time ago to purchase cryptocurrency. Now, I simply want to delete my account, but I can’t log into the app to do it myself.
When I contacted their customer service via email, I was shocked by their response. Instead of helping me close the account, they demanded an overwhelming list of documents, including my employment information, ID, bank account details, and even my annual income.
All I want is to have my account deleted, and I see no reason to provide such personal and sensitive information just for that purpose. This is excessive, invasive, and completely unjustified.
I am formally filing a complaint against Socios.com. Their practices feel intentionally obstructive and privacy-violating.
I’m requesting that Socios immediately delete my account without forcing users to give up private financial and employment data. This is not just poor customer service—it’s borderline unacceptable. Other users should be warned.
