On June 7, 2025, I received a message from Snapchat even though I have never created an account or attempted to sign up using my phone number. I have no Snapchat membership, so why am I receiving messages related to account creation? This is extremely concerning.
It appears that someone else tried to open a Snapchat account using my personal phone number without my knowledge or permission. How is it even possible for someone to register an account using someone else's number? This raises serious privacy and security concerns.
I demand that Snapchat immediately investigate this issue. If any account was created using my phone number, it must be shut down without delay. I also expect Snapchat to initiate a legal process against whoever attempted this misuse. I never gave anyone permission to use my number, and I certainly didn’t create any account.
