Yatra and Skyscanner Payment Taken but No Hotel Booking Confirmed

I am submitting this complaint to Yatra regarding a serious issue with a hotel reservation payment made through Yatra via Skyscanner for Hotel Nest in Dharamshala. Today at around 8:40 a.m., I made an online UPI payment via Google Pay of ₹5,513 from Dalhousie for a hotel booking at Hotel Nest, Dharamshala, via Yatra on Skyscanner. The amount has been successfully deducted from my account and was sent to the UPI address yatrapgonline@axl, with a UPI reference ending with 2073. After the payment, I saw that the money had gone into a PhonePe-linked account, which makes the transaction appear suspicious and raises doubts about its security and legitimacy. However, I have not received any booking confirmation, voucher, SMS, or email from Yatra. When I checked with the hotel, they confirmed that there is no reservation in my name, and no booking has been received from Yatra. In addition, I have not been able to reach any valid customer care number for either Yatra or Skyscanner to resolve this issue. This situation raises serious concerns about how my transaction has been handled and creates a risk of financial loss for me. In this situation, I request that my full payment of ₹5,513 be refunded to me without any delay, as no booking has been provided in return for the amount charged. I expect this issue to be investigated promptly and my refund to be processed as soon as possible.
