Skillshare Free Trial Trap! Avoid Automatic Charges & Deceptive Support
I signed up for Skillshare.com so I could try out their piano classes for free. But the service and the unimpressive customer support left me quite unhappy. It took me all of one minute to figure out that the supposedly quick responses I got whenever I asked for help were actually automated responses acting as human conversations. I received generic template responses within 1-2 minutes even after replying with my concerns, further showing that there is no true human help. I had already forgotten to cancel before the trial expired, but things got worse when Skillshare connected my account to regular payments and charged me without my knowledge. I contacted customer service about this, and they told me that I could cancel my subscription, but they couldn't give me a refund for the money they had already taken. Because of Skillshare's dishonest and manipulative practices, I am no longer interested in using their service. This free trial scam is real, and you should not fall for it.
