I purchased a Skechers brand shoe from the Buyaka store in Ümraniye, Istanbul, specifically because it was advertised as waterproof, and I bought it during a discount period. What I truly do not understand is this: is it normal for a product sold at such high prices to end up in this condition?
I own an Adidas pair of shoes that I bought one year ago for one-third of the price of this Skechers product, and I have worn them constantly. Despite that, they still have not a single defect. On the other hand, the Skechers shoes I bought from your company as winter footwear were never worn for a full year after purchase, and yet they ended up in this condition.
In December, on the day I learned about the sudden death of a close relative, I had to urgently travel out of town and wore these shoes for three consecutive days. After that, the shoes developed separations and openings on both sides. Because you do not even accept objections and immediately label such issues as user error, water damage, or other excuses, I honestly do not expect anything from you anymore. However, I still want to ask: is this really the kind of product you think is acceptable to sell to people during such a difficult economic period?
