Skechers Waterproof, Highly Resistant Shoes Took Water In
The shoes I purchased in September 2023, touted by the seller as being resistant to a 3-4 hour rainfall, revealed their lack of this claimed feature during the first rain. In fact, the very first raindrop found its way inside my shoe. When I took the shoes back to the store for inspection, they were returned to me five days later, asserting that there was no manufacturing defect. It's disheartening to see a product labeled as having water-resistant properties yet lacking any commitment to stand behind it, a behavior typically associated with subpar, unscrupulous manufacturers. Even smaller, less established producers are now making efforts to rectify issues and not leave their customers in distress. If a resolution is not reached, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board and share my experience on all social media platforms. It's unfortunate that, for the first time, I find myself using shoes that do not live up to their promised waterproof feature.
