Skechers Slade Cooper Shoes Show Leather Damage After 10 Days

I purchased the Skechers Slade – Cooper 205237 men’s red casual shoes through N11. After only about 10–15 days of use, thinning developed in the leather on the right shoe due to a cut located underneath the upper leather layer. I do not believe this issue resulted from normal wear and tear.

When I contacted customer service and sent the product in for inspection, I was informed that the issue was not considered a manufacturing defect. If that is the case, then what is the cause? Acknowledging that the flaw exists while claiming it is not production-related feels unreasonable and dismissive.

The leather on the right shoe has become so thin that if you press on it slightly firmly, it feels like it could tear and your finger could go through. The fact that this problem appeared in such a short time and only on the right shoe makes the quality and the inspection process difficult for me to trust.

For my order number PY5202********10, I request a full refund, considering the short period of use and the defect I have experienced.

In summary, this has been a very disappointing experience with Skechers. My advice to other customers is to carefully review customer satisfaction ratings of the manufacturer before purchasing any shoes or products.

I finally got my money back after a roughly 1–1.5 month struggle with Olka A. Ş., the Skechers Turkey company. If customer service and satisfaction are not improved, the outcome will be bad. I read the complaints; among them there are probably those who abuse the security, but treating everyone the same is a completely wrong approach. As a result, if every product sent and request is evaluated negatively, the reasons must be explained satisfactorily. The rightful parties' requests must be fulfilled, and for the unjust ones, their reasons must be stated and appropriate action taken. As I mentioned above, I got my refund back, but the process was long and frustrating. Therefore I cannot / will not thank the company. My only thanks go to the "Şikayet var" company/platform. Finally, check the Şikayet var platform and if the relevant company and product do not inspire confidence, I definitely recommend not buying any product. Good luck.

The process was irritating and was built on the customer lying and abusing. In the end, Olka company issued a refund, but I was not satisfied with this experience. And they don't deserve thanks.
