On May 11, 2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers GO Run Elevate shoes from a local store. Unfortunately, after wearing them only twice, I noticed the shoes were causing me to pronate excessively. Despite not having any previous issues with overpronation, these shoes caused severe ankle pain every time I wore them.
To protect my health, I decided to stop using the shoes (worn a total of 3 or 4 times) and returned them to the store for inspection. After 15 days, the store informed me that the factory examination found no issues with the product, rejected my claim, and refused to accept the return.
However, upon further research, I discovered numerous individuals experiencing the same problem, all of whom had their complaints dismissed. It's clear that insufficient investigation has been conducted, and there appears to be a widespread manufacturing defect in this particular model.
If the product is not accepted for return, I intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. Furthermore, I will report this issue to relevant institutions, including the Ministry of Commerce, alleging that the company is profiting unfairly by releasing defective shoes into the market.
