On May 13, 2025, I purchased a pair of Skechers Flex Advantage 5.0 men’s black sneakers (model 232820 BBK, size 44) from an official Skechers seller on N11. To my disappointment, within just two months of normal daily use, the stitches started to come apart. I want to emphasize that I never used these shoes for sports activities such as basketball or soccer; they were only worn for routine, everyday walking.
When I noticed the defect, I immediately filed a return request under order number 202521987733. However, the seller rejected my request, stating that “no manufacturing defect was detected.” This response is unacceptable, because a high-priced shoe’s stitching should not unravel after such a short period unless there is a production flaw. I trusted Skechers for its advertised quality, yet the brand refuses to stand behind its own product.
I demand that Skechers approve my return request and resolve this issue promptly. If not, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board and take further legal action. Additionally, I expect Skechers to provide the full name of the employee who inspected and denied my return, as I intend to pursue this through the courts if necessary. Customers deserve durable products and fair warranty service, not excuses.
