I Face Skechers Shoes Tearing Within Warranty and Claim Rejected
I purchased a pair of Skechers sneakers from the Skechers store located in Istanbul Emaar Mall on October 15, 2025, for approximately $225. Although the product comes with a 2-year warranty, it started tearing from the left side before even completing one year of use.
Due to this issue, I returned the shoes to the store on April 4, 2026, for inspection. The store informed me via SMS that the product was registered under request number 1-578429 and that the legal inspection period would take up to 30 business days. However, after only about 17 days, I received another SMS stating that my request had been rejected without any explanation. The message also stated that I needed to pick up the product from the store by May 6, 2026, or it would be destroyed.
It is unacceptable that a product tears in such a short time and that my warranty claim is denied without any clear justification. I believe this issue is due to a manufacturing defect.
I request that my shoes be replaced with a new pair under warranty or that I receive a full refund of the amount I paid. I ask that my complaint be resolved quickly and in a way that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
