Defective Skechers Hillcrest Outdoor Shoes Excluded from Warranty

Ordered as a thoughtful gift, the Skechers Hillcrest Outdoor Shoes for my spouse revealed a surprising defect. On the third wear, the clasp holding the lace on the right shoe snapped. The product was taken to the store and sent to Skechers for inspection, and the supposedly customer-centric brand shockingly concluded, without proper examination, that it was a user-caused problem. The rejection of my Refund/Exchange request implies that Skechers believes we lack the basic skill of tying shoelaces. Their quick turnaround of one week for an inspection that usually takes 21 days is dubious at best. Check out the photos and decide which brands to steer clear of. Skechers, disrespect consumers and gain unjustly. I do not forgive them for this awful shopping experience and plan to share it on every platform. This regrettable incident has made me rue the day I decided to purchase my first Skechers product.
