I Face a Refund Delay from Sixt — €339 Tire Replacement Still Not Paid After Four Months
On June 20, I rented a fully insured car from Sixt Switzerland. While driving in the Netherlands, the tire burst, and when I contacted Sixt Germany, they instructed me to pay for the replacement first and assured me that the amount would later be refunded. I paid €339 for one tire and submitted a copy of the invoice to Sixt Eindhoven.
Since that date, I have reached out via email multiple times, and each time, I was asked to resend the same invoice. Despite sending it five or six times, the only responses I received were vague messages such as “Please be patient, we’re looking into it.” It has now been nearly four months, and I still haven’t received the refund.
My reservation number is 9722153801, and my invoice number is C7717061. I demand that the €339 I paid for the tire replacement be immediately refunded and that Sixt take responsibility for this unacceptable delay and lack of communication.
