Booking.com and RentalCover Delayed My Refund After Sixt Rental Damage Claim
I rented a car from Sixt through Booking.com (reference number 729864590) for use in Germany and added full protection coverage via RentalCover. After using and returning the car, Sixt claimed there was damage to the rims and charged me for the repair. I paid the amount and submitted all necessary documents to RentalCover for reimbursement.
Despite providing all the paperwork, RentalCover has been stalling my claim for over a month, repeatedly stating that I have "missing documents." If there are missing documents, they could easily coordinate with Sixt to obtain them. This delay is unacceptable.
I am frustrated with both Booking.com and RentalCover for their lack of accountability and failure to process my refund promptly. I demand immediate reimbursement for the amount paid.
