I Face a Shortwave Subscription Charge I Can't Cancel Through Apple or the App


I am writing as a Shortwave user in the United States regarding an unwanted subscription payment that I have been unable to cancel. Recently, a charge of $17.99 began appearing as “ShortsWave 17.99 pending” and the amount is being taken from my Apple Cash balance. I believe this is a weekly subscription. The first time I noticed this unwanted payment was on June 3. When I check my Apple subscriptions, this Shortwave payment does not appear anywhere, so I have no way to manage or cancel it from Apple’s side. Inside the Shortwave app, I tapped on the section under my name, where it says “Me,” and I can see my subscription there, but there is no visible option or button that allows me to cancel it. Because of this, the subscription keeps renewing and charging my Apple Cash even though I no longer want to use the service. I have already contacted support and I am currently waiting for a reply, but I am very worried that the charges will continue. I kindly request that this Shortwave subscription be cancelled immediately and that the recent payments taken from my Apple Cash be refunded. If a full refund is not possible, I at least want written confirmation that the subscription has been cancelled and that no further charges will be made.
