ShortsWave charged me after I thought I canceled my plan, how can I stop this billing?

If ShortsWave charged you after you thought you canceled,

• Make sure cancellation was done correctly;

– iPhone → Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cancel
– Android → Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Cancel
– You must cancel from the same account used for payment

– Deleting the app does NOT stop billing

• Check cancellation status;

• Verify:
– Subscription shows “Canceled” (not “Active”)
– You see an expiration date instead of renewal
– You received a confirmation email

– If no confirmation, it likely wasn’t canceled

• Fix possible mistakes;

– Try other Apple/Google accounts you use
– Check PayPal / bank recurring payments
– Some subscriptions are hidden under different emails

• Stop future charges immediately;

– Contact your bank
– Block recurring payments from ShortsWave
– Revoke merchant authorization

• Contact support;

• Write:
– “I canceled my subscription but I’m still being charged. Stop billing and confirm cancellation immediately.”

If they don’t fix it, file a complaint on Xolvie to push for resolution.
