Shortmax Tries to Renew My Subscription Even After Cancellation
I purchased a weekly membership through the Shortmax app and canceled the subscription before it expired. Even though the app shows my membership as canceled, for the past 2–3 weeks the system has continued to attempt to renew the subscription every week, and I keep receiving “insufficient funds” warnings on my card. Fortunately, no money has been charged so far only because there is no balance on my card.
Today, I tried to contact customer service through the in-app support section, but I have not yet received any response. The fact that these renewal attempts continue despite my cancellation is disturbing and does not inspire trust.
I request that my membership be fully and permanently canceled, and that no further weekly renewal attempts be made on my card. I ask that these actions be completely stopped at the system level.
