Shell's Poor Service And Poor Workers in the Heart of Istanbul
I pulled into the Shell Kazasker station, filled up on gas, and went to the cashier. To my surprise, Yapi Kredi Bank informed me that their credit card system was down at this hour (23:40)! "Can this get any more absurd?" I exclaimed. "How come there was no warning?" This is the third time this has happened to me since Opet. Yapi Kredi Bank or the gas stations are either deceiving people or are up to something else entirely! Yapi Kredi Bank's campaigns are always a pain. The cashier's reaction, demeanor, and refusal to resolve the issue were completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was a foul odor coming from the restroom all the way to the exit. Having such a station and its personnel in the heart of Istanbul exceeds Shell's corporate standards! Their commercials paint a lovely picture, but the reality is quite different!
