I recently came across a Facebook ad that appeared to be from Shein, offering a box of discontinued clothing items for $9.99. The logo and page looked completely legitimate, and I even read over 50 positive reviews under the ad, so I trusted it and decided to make a purchase. I paid on April 21, 2026, using my Cash App card. Immediately after entering my card information, I was hit with multiple charges from various companies, totaling around $80 instead of the promised $9.99. These payments were clearly unauthorized and unrelated to any order I intended to place. I contacted Facebook about the ad, but they told me they could not do anything about it. I then reached out to Cash App, and they basically said I was out of luck and that I should only use companies I trust. This is very upsetting because I already trusted Shein and have been a loyal customer for a long time. At the moment, I even have three Shein items currently being shipped to me, and if I could cancel them, I would, because this situation has really shaken my trust. I am a single mom who saved up a little money to finally buy something for myself, and now I am just out around $80 due to what appears to be a fraudulent ad using Shein’s brand on Facebook. I could not find any customer service phone number for Shein when I searched online, so I am turning here for help. I request that Shein investigate this Facebook ad that uses its name and logo, assist me with the unauthorized charges that occurred right after I tried to purchase the $9.99 discontinued items box, and provide support in recovering my lost money. I am also ready to share screenshots of the transactions and the companies that charged me if needed.
