On May 17, we purchased Sebamed Baby SPF 50+ Sunscreen from the Watsons store in Samsun. My spouse and I both have very fair skin, and we specifically chose a baby sunscreen because we wanted the highest level of protection and hoped to avoid getting sunburned during our vacation. However, on May 25, the very first day of our trip, we used the sunscreen as directed, yet both of us suffered first-degree sunburns, and our vacation was completely ruined.

The burns have caused us severe pain, and despite coming on a beach vacation, we have been unable to spend time in the sun because of our injuries. We purchased this sunscreen trusting that it would provide reliable protection, but instead we experienced both physical harm and financial loss. In addition, we had to buy several other products to treat our sunburns.

I request that Sebamed investigate the Sebamed Baby SPF 50+ Sunscreen, thoroughly examine the product to determine why it failed to provide the expected protection, and refund the full purchase price. I also ask that our experience be taken seriously and that appropriate action be taken to address the harm we suffered.
