Scribd Charged Me ₺474 After I Canceled My Free Trial and I Demand a Refund

I canceled my Scribd subscription during the free trial period, yet they still charged my card ₺474—and I only noticed it by chance. What’s even more confusing is that their current subscription fee listed on the website is just over ₺200, so why was I charged more than double?
When I looked into it further, I found that many other users have experienced the same issue, which raises serious concerns. Why is a well-established company based in San Francisco charging users without consent and ignoring proper cancellation?
Scribd, I demand an immediate refund of the ₺474 you withdrew from my account. If this isn’t resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter through Consumer Protection and banking authorities. This isn’t just a technical error—this is unauthorized billing, and it needs to stop.
