I Got Charged Without Permission by Scribd for an Unwanted Subscription

On May 8, 2025, Scribd charged my credit card a subscription fee of ₺479.19, including tax—without my consent. I never signed up for any membership or provided authorization for recurring payments. I don’t understand how such a transaction could occur without my knowledge or approval.

I only realized the charge when reviewing my credit card statement. I’ve never used Scribd’s services, nor have I agreed to any terms that would justify a monthly charge. This feels like a serious violation of consumer trust and financial privacy.

I expect a full refund of the amount that was charged and an immediate cancellation of any subscription that may have been wrongly initiated. Additionally, I request a detailed explanation of how this unauthorized charge was even possible. Please resolve this issue urgently.
