I recently discovered that Scribd has been charging my credit card ₺11.99 every month for the past three months—totaling ₺36—without my permission or any prior notice. I never knowingly signed up for a paid subscription, nor did I use the platform in any meaningful way because I was aware it required a paid membership. I never agreed to these charges, and I’m deeply frustrated that a service I didn’t use or authorize has taken money from my account.
This situation is not only unacceptable but also feels intentionally deceptive. I want all charges refunded immediately. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will begin formal chargeback procedures with my bank and take legal action if necessary. Judging by other complaints, I am clearly not the only victim of these unauthorized withdrawals. Scribd must stop charging users without consent and ensure proper cancellation procedures are accessible and transparent.
