Scottish Power Ignored My Meter Readings and Refused to Refund My Credit Balance

The invoicing system and customer service of Scottish Power were a headache. I contacted several times via email and phone, but either I was met with non-existent response or lengthy waiting times. Even though I routinely turned in my actual meter readings, they continued to ignore them and instead relied on nonsensical inflated projections. I therefore asked for a refund multiple times as I had a substantial credit amount. They turned down every occasion, providing me nebulous and useless justification. Presumably accruing interest on these unreturned balances, it felt as though they were deliberately clinging to my money. For someone seeking a fair or dependable energy source, I would not suggest Scottish Power.
