Schär Biscuits Didn’t Dissolve and Had a Strong Off-Smell

In the last four packs of Schär gluten-free baby biscuits I bought, there was a strong, unpleasant smell. I prepared one pack with milk, but it didn’t dissolve, and the odor was extremely intense. I tried tasting it, and it had a heavy smell—almost like mold or something burnt. The expiration date wasn’t passed and there was no visible mold.
I used the other packs to make a cheesecake. Since I had other things cooking on the stove, I couldn’t notice the smell at the time and finished the cheesecake. But during the tasting, I was completely embarrassed in front of my guests. What happened to these biscuits? I had to throw everything away. I don’t even know what to be upset about—myself, the dessert I had to make gluten-free out of necessity, or the time and ingredients I wasted. Schär gluten-free baby biscuits have now become a risky product.
