Samsung UE50AU8000 Screen Failed After Warranty and They Refused Free Repair
I own a Samsung UE50AU8000UXTK model TV, and I was very satisfied with it. I purchased it on August 22, 2022, but on December 1, 2025, the screen suddenly went dark and stopped working. I always used the TV carefully and followed all the manufacturer’s recommendations for maintenance. The service team visited today and informed me that the issue is with the opencell panel, quoting a repair cost of ₺14,000. Considering the TV is just over three years old and this type of issue is highly unusual for such a well-regarded brand, I believe it should not have occurred in the first place. As the warranty expired just 5 months ago, I am requesting a free repair for my device. I trust that Samsung will uphold its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction by resolving this issue fairly.
