Salomon X Raise 2 Mid GTX Boots Lost Waterproofing and Durability Within 2 Years

In 2023, I purchased the Salomon X Raise 2 Mid GTX outdoor boots from the Sport City Karaköy store. Unfortunately, the side seams of the boots have come apart, and they have completely lost their waterproof functionality. This happened well within the warranty period. I returned the boots to the Sport City store, requesting a warranty evaluation, but after two weeks, my claim was rejected with the excuse that the issue was not due to a manufacturing defect.

It is unacceptable for a product marketed as durable outdoor footwear—promoted with rugged terrain advertisements and a warranty promise—to fail under regular use in Istanbul’s weather, let alone within less than two years. This either points to a manufacturing defect or deceptive marketing practices. As a result, I have been left without boots in the middle of winter, and the significant amount I paid has gone to waste.

I demand that Salomon, SPX, O.C.O. Gıda Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş., and Sport City stand behind the product and resolve this issue immediately. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience, and I expect compensation or a replacement for the faulty boots.
