Rowenta Refused to Replace Torn Vacuum Hose Despite 5-Year Extended Warranty

I bought a Rowenta Force vacuum cleaner along with a 5-year extended warranty, anticipating dependable performance. Regrettably, the initial 10 cm hose on the hoover head ripped during removal. Even with an extended warranty, Rowenta declined to replace the part, stating that the hoover heads aren't included in the coverage. The service centre acknowledged that this problem is a recognised manufacturing defect, but Rowenta still refused to take responsibility. It’s disappointing that a product with a recognised issue isn’t being supported, particularly when the warranty is supposed to address these kinds of problems. Potential buyers need to recognise this limitation before deciding on this brand. I hope Rowenta will take a moment to rethink its strategy and deliver the support that was promised with the extended warranty.
