Rossmann Staff Accused Me of Lying Over a Hair Dye Price Error in the Store


On June 7, 2025, I had an appalling experience at the Rossmann branch in Mersin Forum AVM, Turkey. I was mistreated by the store manager (who refused to give her surname) and other staff who acted unprofessionally and arbitrarily. The power went out only in their store, and instead of handling it calmly, they refused to let me leave—even though no payment had gone through. The cashier said, “You’re not leaving,” and the manager insisted I had to wait. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. If money had been withdrawn, I would be the one suffering the loss—not them. I offered to verify everything with cameras, but they continued to argue and tried to detain me. When I got upset, the manager interrupted a private conversation I had with my sibling and even warned me about my tone. When the argument escalated, she called mall security first to intimidate me. I then stepped outside and called security myself to report the situation. Meanwhile, your staff continued gossiping about me at the counter while I was outside and my sibling was still inside. This store has completely lost control. The staff are generally rude, untrained, lazy, and lack integrity. On a previous visit, a staff member gave false information about a product and even took it out of my hand to put it back on the shelf. Rossmann Turkey's head office was informed, and they promised to respond in 72 hours. They did not. On June 12, a junior employee finally called and downplayed everything, repeating false claims and protecting the manager. They are likely to use the power outage as an excuse to deny having any camera footage. A mysterious “witness” was also mentioned—despite no incident report being filed while my sibling was still there. When and how was this person found? Rossmann Germany must intervene. This branch is out of control, and customers deserve better treatment and accountability.
