Lufian Misused My Personal Info - Issued an Invoice Under a Random Person's Name
On April 3, 2025, we purchased two clothing items from the Lufian store at Kayseri Forum around 6:00 PM. One item wasn’t available in the right size, so the store gave us another one, saying we could exchange both later when the correct product arrived. My brother made the purchase and provided his phone number, but the cashier, M****, entered it incorrectly and was extremely unprofessional. She also lied, claiming a discount linked to the number couldn’t be used. On April 7, the store called a completely unrelated person — a friend of mine — saying their item was ready, using my brother’s purchase details. We were shocked since this person has no connection to the transaction. Despite calling the store many times, they didn’t respond for days. When we finally spoke to someone, they were rude and dismissive. Later, the same cashier called and admitted she got the number from the invoice and assumed it belonged to my brother’s father — even though the surnames don’t match. She also said she got the number from her manager, which turned out to be a lie. We visited the store and explained everything to the store manager, who had no knowledge of the situation. The invoice had been issued under the name of a completely unrelated person, which is illegal. When we asked for the invoice to be corrected and issued under my brother’s name, they refused and even tore it up. We consulted the police, who explained that the store may have accessed card information to find contact details. This is highly disturbing. We plan to file a complaint with the consumer court. Let this be a warning: Lufian stores may misuse your personal and card information. We are deeply disappointed and will never shop there again. Lufian is now boycotted. Don’t let this happen to you.
