On February 10, I purchased a Roborock S7 Max Ultra robot vacuum through Epttavm. After using the product only twice, it began displaying a wall sensor error, and because of this issue I sent the device to the service center on February 17.
After the service inspection, I was informed that there was liquid contact on the motherboard, and therefore the malfunction would not be covered under warranty. I was told that I would need to pay $417 for the repair.
Considering that the product had been used only two times, experiencing such a serious malfunction and having it immediately classified as user-caused damage with such a high repair cost has left me feeling unfairly treated. The service center simply stated that the issue was outside the warranty and that the repair could only be completed as a paid repair, without offering any alternative solution.
I have my order record (PTT-L60CIQC2J-100226) and the service report prepared by the service center regarding this process. I cannot accept that a product used only twice would fail in this way and be immediately excluded from warranty coverage as user error.
Because I believe the product is defective, I request that Roborock Turkey replace my product with a new unit free of charge.
If my grievance is not resolved and no solution is provided, I would like to state that I am considering exercising my legal rights by filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Consumer Court.
