Roborock Q5 Pro Mapping Failed After First Use

I purchased two units of the Roborock Q5 Pro on November 20, 2024, expecting efficient cleaning and smart mapping. During the very first cleaning session, the vacuum mapped and cleaned the area properly. But from the second use onward, it started moving erratically and cleaning randomly with no logical pattern.
I tried resetting it and remapping the area multiple times, but nothing changed. Despite all efforts, the vacuum couldn’t maintain a stable map. On top of that, I’ve never been able to use the mopping feature—it simply doesn’t function.
I finally sent one of the devices to the service center. Today, they called and said the issue is a software error. They offered to fix it, chemically clean the unit, and provide a 6-month service warranty—but only if I pay an extra ₺5,000. They also claimed the software issue is not covered by the product warranty. This is unacceptable.
A brand-new product shouldn’t suffer software failures within weeks, and customers shouldn’t be forced to pay out-of-pocket for a problem they didn’t cause. Roborock, I expect a full repair or replacement at no cost. Stop hiding behind vague warranty terms and fix this now.
