My Valorant Accounts Disappeared Overnight Despite Strong Security Settings
I have been playing Valorant for a long time, and both my account and my spouse’s account contain a significant investment in purchased skins and in-game content. We had enabled all available security measures and maintained our accounts carefully to prevent unauthorized access.
On the night of February 11, 2025, we logged into our accounts, played Valorant normally, and then signed out before going to sleep. Nothing appeared unusual at the time, and both accounts were functioning normally.
The following morning, when we attempted to log in again, the system began reporting that our usernames or passwords were incorrect. We carefully entered the correct credentials multiple times but were unable to access either account. Even more concerning, the email address associated with both accounts no longer appears to be linked to them. The accounts are missing from the list of registered accounts connected to my email address.
I attempted to use Riot Games’ password recovery process, but no password reset emails or recovery notifications were delivered to my inbox. It appears as though both accounts have either been removed from the system, disconnected from my email address, or otherwise become completely inaccessible.
Between the two accounts, I have spent approximately $1,000 on skins and other in-game purchases. Losing access to accounts that contain such a substantial financial investment, along with years of gameplay and progress, has caused significant frustration and concern.
I have already submitted a support ticket to Riot Games through email, but I have not yet received a solution that restores access to the accounts.
I respectfully request that Riot Games conduct a thorough investigation, verify ownership of both accounts, determine what happened to the associated login credentials and email information, and securely return the accounts to me. I also request clear communication throughout the process and a prompt resolution so that I can regain access to the content and purchases associated with my Valorant accounts.
