On February 4, 2026, we initiated a €380 transfer via Revolut to a Halkbank account in Turkey. Under normal circumstances, such transfers are completed within one business day. However, despite waiting until February 10—the maximum stated processing time—the funds were not credited to the recipient’s account.
When we contacted Revolut, we were told that the transfer had already been sent from their system and that we should contact the receiving bank. However, when we spoke with Halkbank, they clearly stated that no such transfer had been received and that they could not take any action. We then contacted Revolut support again, and they said an investigation had been initiated and that we should wait until February 18. Despite requesting an update on February 18, we received no response.
As of February 19, 2026:
The funds have been deducted from the Revolut account.
The money has not been received by the Halkbank account.
No clear information has been provided regarding the current status of the transfer.
We have also noticed an increasing number of similar complaints from other users recently, which raises serious concerns about reliability and trust.
Our Requests:
A clear and immediate explanation of the status of the €380 transfer,
The immediate delivery of the funds to the recipient account or a full refund to our Revolut account,
Transparent and detailed communication regarding the process.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to the relevant financial regulatory authorities and pursue legal action if necessary. I request an urgent resolution to this issue.
