Revolut Says My Transfer Was Sent, But Akbank Still Hasn’t Received It
On May 15, I made a ₺30,000 transfer from my Revolut account to my Akbank account. It’s now been weeks, and the money has still not arrived. Revolut support insists the transfer was completed successfully and provided me with a transaction reference number. They told me to follow up with Akbank using that number.
However, when I contacted Akbank, they told me they have no system to track transactions using that reference number and that they cannot locate the funds. I’m stuck in the middle—Revolut says it’s sent, Akbank says it’s not received—and my ₺30,000 is completely unaccounted for.
This is unacceptable. I demand urgent action from both Revolut and Akbank to trace and resolve this missing transfer. I followed all the correct procedures and now face a serious financial loss due to lack of coordination and responsibility between these two institutions. I expect my money to be located and credited immediately.
