Approximately one month ago, I reached an agreement with Renault Çetaş Bağcılar Mahmutbey branch for a 2026 model Renault Duster, Tecno package, without options, by giving my current vehicle in part exchange. After the initial inspection, my vehicle was valued at ₺480,000 as a trade‑in, and our agreement was made based on this price. On 4 April, I paid a deposit of ₺180,000. I was informed that the new vehicle would arrive on 29–30 April and that I would deliver my current vehicle close to the delivery date. During this period, I did not carry out any additional work, modification or change on my current vehicle after the first inspection; the condition of the vehicle remained exactly the same. However, when I went to the dealership on 28 April to hand over my car, I was told that this time they valued my vehicle at ₺250,000. I was seriously aggrieved by the fact that the same vehicle, without any changes and in such a short time, was suddenly offered almost half the previous trade‑in price. For about a month, instead of selling my vehicle on the open market, I waited relying on the dealership’s promise. In order to be able to complete the remaining payment for the new vehicle during this period, I sold gold and foreign currency and also borrowed money. I did all of this based on the dealership’s written commitment to a ₺480,000 trade‑in value and the delivery date information they gave. Moreover, in my WhatsApp correspondence with the sales representative, it is clearly stated in writing that my vehicle was given a ₺480,000 trade‑in value and that the new vehicle would be delivered on 29–30 April. For all these reasons, I request that the initial trade‑in value of ₺480,000 given to my vehicle in the first inspection be honored and that the trade‑in process be carried out at the agreed, original price.
