Remitly Entered Recipient Name Incorrectly and Keeps Delaying My Transfer

On June 1, 2025, I sent money from the U.S. to Turkey via IBAN using Remitly. I carefully entered the recipient's name correctly during the transfer. However, Remitly somehow altered or mishandled the name, and now the system shows it as if the name was entered incorrectly—something I absolutely did not do.

According to the app, the money “reached the recipient bank,” but the recipient still hasn’t received any funds. I’ve contacted support several times, and they keep giving me the same response without taking action. For days now, I’ve been strung along without a clear solution, and this delay is completely unacceptable.

Remitly, I demand that you resolve this issue immediately. Either correct the name and ensure the money is delivered to the rightful recipient, or refund the full amount. After this experience, I will never trust or use your platform again. Your handling of this matter has completely destroyed my confidence in your service.
