Azar App Connection Turned Into Blackmail — Inappropriate Screenshots Used for Extortion
Today, a person from the Philippines whom I met through the Azar app took inappropriate screenshots of me on WhatsApp without my permission and then started threatening me. This person demanded money by threatening to share the images. I was forced to send 150 Euros through Remitly. However, even after sending the money, the threats and demands continued. I have the person’s phone number: +63 9474482800.
This situation has caused me significant fear and distress, and it has seriously affected my psychological well-being. I have not reported the incident to any authorities or to the support teams of the platforms involved. I request that Azar, WhatsApp, and Remitly take immediate action against this user and that my grievance be resolved.
