Telegram Blackmail Incident — Fake Account Threatens to Leak Private Images
Within the past week, I was deceived on Telegram by a fake account with the username @al***, who manipulated me into sending sexually explicit photos. I made a mistake by sending them, not realizing the situation would escalate. This person threatened me using my private images and demanded $117, saying that if I didn’t pay, they would share the photos across all social media platforms without my consent. The messages included threats and blackmail, but I am not sure whether my account or personal information was compromised. Because of this, I had to delete and close my Telegram account.
On November 14, 2025, a person—who appeared to be a woman—requested a video call on Telegram. During the call, they recorded inappropriate images of me and then threatened to send the video to my friends, family, and relatives through various social media platforms. They demanded $117 and said they would stop if I paid, but I refused. From that date forward, I want to clarify that I am not responsible for any illegal or unauthorized actions taken from my account, and I request necessary action to be taken.
Please share this so others don’t become victims. These individuals create fear and panic. I want legal procedures to begin immediately. Unfortunately, I was targeted and manipulated, and I don’t want anyone else to experience the same. If my photos or videos are shared on Telegram or Instagram, I do not accept responsibility. I am requesting that the appropriate legal steps be taken. This could happen to anyone, and I hope this situation can be resolved quickly.
I have not yet contacted Telegram’s support team. To prevent similar incidents and ensure user safety, I request that the account involved be removed and that strong measures be taken against such harmful profiles.
